PHYSICAL PREPARATION

1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Know ye no that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

As we go Soul-winning, we need to remember that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

1. Be Physically Clean.

 a. Shower or bath.

 b. Appropriate use of deodorant and perfume.

 c. Hair clean and pleasant appearing.

2. Be Neat and Modest Appearance.

 a. Garments clean and coordinating.

 b. Apparel not low-cut or too tight.

 c. Shorts, slacks on women or short-skirts not to be worn.

3. Use Appropriate Oral Hygiene.

 a. Clean teeth and fresh breath.

 b. Usage of breath freshener recommended.

4. Use Pleasant Actions.

 a. Smile.

 b. Be friendly and “folksy.”

 c. Be dignified and poised in posture.

5. Be Prepared For Service.

 a. Tracts easily accessible.

 b. New Testament readily available.

 c. Pen and paper.

 d. Decision/follow-up notebook.
